Biography
From extensive salon work to TV, international editorial and fashion shows, national and international education, Frankie Flanagan’s experience in the hair and fashion industries is extensive and varied. Frankie started her career as an assistant hairdresser whilst finishing high school. Frankie has gone on to become a renowned Sydney based hairdresser and owner of Adilla Colab Salon in Double Bay.
While refining her craft in Australia's top salons over the last 10 years Frankie has enjoyed a thriving editorial career and won awards such as Victorian Hairdresser of the Year 2012. Frankie has styled hair for many shows during various Australian Fashion Weeks and directed hair for well-known swimwear label We Are Handsome whilst also working closely with other directors for shows including NYFW with Luigi Murenu.
Frankie has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion including Naomi Campbell. She has directed a team of 7 for The Face Australia and has previously worked on The Voice as a hair stylist for the Mac Cosmetics team. Frankie’s most recent work has seen her directing hair for Gok Wan’s ‘Style the Nation’ for Channel7.
Frankie is an extremely passionate hair stylist and can work with brides in salon during the months prior to their wedding day for cuts and colour to achieve their best possible hairstyle. She is focused on quality and providing a premium service to brides which goes beyond just on the day hair styling.
