Biography
Kate is a highly experienced makeup artist with over two decades of experience across a wide range of disciplines. With a discerning eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence, she has established herself as a sought-after professional in the world of beauty.
Drawing on her extensive expertise in fashion runway and editorial, media, TV, bridal, retail, education and product development, Kate is passionate about accentuating the natural beauty of her clients whilst adding the necessary details to create the mood and aesthetic to suit any brief.
Her work has graced the pages of Oyster, Grazia, Russh, Harper’s Bazaar, Fashion Journal, Girlfriend, Instyle Hair, The Journal, Woman’s Day, Who, Professional Beauty, Ok, and Famous magazines. She’s led teams for the major fashion weeks around Australia including Afterpay Australia Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane, plus the major MYER and David Jones Runway shows, whilst working on TV shows like The Voice Australia and Australia’s Next Top Model.
With a dedication to her clients' unique needs, Kate's bridal makeup is second to none, focusing on customising the look to suit the individual bride, and using products that last the test of time and translate impeccably in photos.
In search of further purpose and an innate desire to help and serve others, and after suffering her own run of health concerns, Kate became an Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Health Coach in 2019. Whilst continuing to work as an artist, she also works as a health coach. Focusing on stress, low energy, and body image, she helps women become untamed from social conditioning to develop a positive relationship with their bodies, amplify their energy levels, clear up skin concerns, regulate their nervous systems for greater resilience and balance, and ultimately feel good in their own skin. This insight is a valuable support for brides on the journey to their big day.
Raised in country northern NSW, now based in Sydney, Kate is available for bridal hair and makeup around the country.
