Spotlight: Makeup by Katie Angus – Ebanny’s bridal glow

When it comes to bridal makeup that feels luminous, fresh, and truly individual, Katie Angus knows exactly how to deliver — as she did for Ebanny Dwyer on her Greyleigh Kiama wedding day. For the co-founder and director of Edie Collective, Katie Angus, Makeup Artist with The Future Mrs, created a fresh and dewy spring look that felt entirely authentic to the bride’s style. Having collaborated with Katie on past Edie Collective campaigns, Ebanny shared that “naturally I wanted her part of our special day.”

“I worked with Katie Angus and Vanessa Barney for my hair and makeup, which was a dream,” Ebanny shared in Vogue. “We used peachy pinks to highlight my cheeks and eyes, a soft smudge across my eyelashes, mascara, and my everyday go-to Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm in Lure.” She added, “Katie and Vanessa absolutely understood the assignment — soft, peachy pink and natural. They are both such a delight to work with, completely understood the brief of natural and fresh. I wanted to look like the best springtime version of myself.”

Set against the coastal elegance of Greyleigh Kiama, Ebanny’s bridal look was refined, effortless, and luminous — a true reflection of Katie Angus’s signature approach. The makeup highlighted Ebanny’s natural radiance, with dewy, hydrated skin and soft, spring-inspired tones that perfectly complemented the light and airy beauty of the day. It’s a reminder of how thoughtful, skillful makeup can enhance natural beauty while letting the bride’s personality shine.
